St Aloysius' College student on Kilimanjaro Challenge 7 team

Brad Lee Fenech, 15, will join the team's attempt to the ascent to the summit in September, as they raise funds for a home to accommodate 100 deaf, blind and physically disabled children in Awasi, Kenya.

Jesuit Youth Network
takes 75 young volunteers overseas this summer

The University Chaplaincy will be taking up about 60 persons to Palermo, Naples, Ethiopia and for the first time this year to London.

A group of 14 volunteers from the St. Aloysius’ Sixth Form will also be  going for a two week experience to Armagh Ireland. All these group will be involved in service experiences with the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity.

'Till soon's, 'thank you's and celebrations

We look around and see that we are blessed by the presence of so many wonderful people and graces!

In June we celebrated 50 years since Fr Robbie Wirth's priestly ordination and the 60th year in the Society of Frs Steno de RaffaeleJoe Gauci SaccoAlbert Said and John Scicluna.

On Saturday 29th June we celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving to mark the end of Fr Michael Bugeja's five years of service as Chaplain at the University of Malta (he's off to the Philippines)
as well as bidding farewell (and 'till soon', we hope) to Ms Christine Rossi, coordinator of the Jesuit Youth Network, as she awaits her third child.
