Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Malta is organising a fundraising dinner to mark World Peace Day on Friday 21st September starting at 7.30pm.  

The event will take place in the beautiful and tranquil garden outside the St Aloysius College Church, and will be offering guests the opportunity to sample foods from an authentic ethnic food buffet accompanied by live music

Farewells and new beginnings

After two years of service wit the Jesuit Refugee Service in Malta, we bid farewell to Fr Beatus Mauki SJ from Tanzania and Jaroslaw Mikuzcewski SJ from Poland who have left to pursue their studies.

Scholastic Krystian Molka from Poland and Fr Max Senker SJ from the Democratic Republic of Congo, have arrived to carry on where their companions left off... Read more.

Syria: JRS expands emergency support in Aleppo

Despite the difficulty to access the city, JRS teams – in conjunction with volunteer networks of solidarity – have continued to provide emergency support to the many thousands of displaced families.

To date, JRS is responsible for 11 schools which shelters 6,500 people from Aleppo, an increase of 4,500 in little over two weeks.
