76 Boat Migrants Rescued

Seventy-six boat migrants fleeing the conflict in Libya were rescued by the Armed Forces of Malta and brought ashore yesterday. As in previous arrivals since the beginning of the uprising in Libya, the occupants of the boat included women and children.

Those rescued were reported to be predominantly from  Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Chad.
