Mount St Joseph Retreat House is an invitation to leave the fast pace of modern life and to enter into a haven of peace and quiet. Whether it is just for a day of prayerful meditation or for a longer time of reflection and soul-searching, Mount St Joseph is a place where you can stop to unwind and enter into those rare moments of blissful solitude.

Built in the sixties, Mount St Joseph is run by the Maltese Jesuits (OR Society of Jesus in Malta) in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola, that is, it offers an opportunity for meditation and contemplation. The house offers an atmosphere of tranquillity, excellent facilities and exquisite gardens which help you find rest for your soul.

The House’s main mission is to facilitate the experience of prayer through spiritual retreats and seminars. However, the house is large enough to host other concurrent activities. Mount St Joseph Retreat House also offers excellent facilities for conferences and business meetings.

Guests who would like to come to the Island of Malta to enjoy a peaceful rest in a religious house are most welcome.
